Boston screening
07. 24. 2024
The venue for the day was a community center.
Tomatoes and zucchini are planted in a small space around the building, making it a place of gathering ground for the locals. At first, we were worried because the audience did not show up, but it seemed that they were caught in the traffic jam. We decided to push the screening by 30 minutes.
It ended up quite small screening, 4~5 attendees. Yet Q&A went on for a while with many questions in depth. Often times, it is nice to have a small circle for Q&A, so that we can have close conversation with each one, and the director can answer every question attendees may have. It was one of those Q&A.
After the screening, unexpectedly, the organizers invited us to dinner. They were surprisingly knowledgeable about Japan and we had a great conversation. I’d love to learn more from them.
